What walkers have been saying about the routes and the site
What a wonderful resource this site is. I'm relatively new to walking and had been struggling to find routes near Bishops Tachbrook that were clearly described and easy to follow. The directions are spot on and the honest notes about where things get tricky are exactly what I needed. Already planning my next outing.

Used the Helvellyn route description for my first ever visit to the Lake District — absolutely faultless. The navigation notes at the tricky sections were really reassuring and the description of what to expect on Striding Edge prepared me perfectly. Brilliant day. Can't wait to come back and do more.

Just back from the Ingleborough route — great description and we had a wonderful day. One note for other walkers: the stile about 2 miles in (just after the second stream crossing) has been replaced with a new gate, and the path beyond has been re-routed slightly to the left. The OS map doesn't yet show the change. Brilliant site — we've recommended it to everyone in our walking group.
🥾 Ingleborough from Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Yorkshire Dales
I've used a lot of walking websites over the years and this is genuinely one of the best. The fact that every route has been personally walked and honestly described makes such a difference — you can tell it's been written by someone who actually knows and loves the countryside. The Warwickshire section in particular is a revelation. Excellent work.
