Starting Point: Car park just off Radford Road, Royal Leamington Spa (SP 332 653)
Terrain: River Leam path, Leam Valley Nature Reserve, old golf course edge, field path, footbridge, driveway, field path, Offchurch village road, disused railway track, Grand Union Canal towpath, Centenary Way, road crossing.
A pleasant and varied short circular walk from the edge of Royal Leamington Spa, combining a fine riverside stretch, a pretty village and a straightforward canal towpath return. The outward leg follows the River Leam east through the Leam Valley Nature Reserve — a lovely green corridor on the doorstep of the town — before crossing the fields to Offchurch, a quiet Warwickshire village well worth a few minutes of exploration and with a pub conveniently placed for a mid-walk pause. The return west via the disused railway and the Grand Union Canal towpath on the Centenary Way is easy, flat and enjoyable, with the canal providing a pleasant contrast to the river path on the outward leg. A reliable walk that delivers good variety for its modest distance.
