A pleasant circular walk from Offchurch taking in quiet lanes, the Centenary Way and a fine stretch of Warwickshire countryside. The outward leg follows the Centenary Way east from Offchurch past Fosseway Cottage and uphill to the Fosse Way, the old Roman Road that bisects this part of Warwickshire. The crossing here requires care as the road is busy. The route then heads north along Ridgeway Lane past Print Wood and Snowford Lodge before crossing the railway and arriving back at the Fosse Way for a short but busy 300 metre section south to the Hunningham crossroads - cars are moving slowly here but great care is still needed. After picking up the footpath north of the crossroads the walk heads back west through pleasant fields towards Offchurch, with a short navigational sequence of left, right and left near SP 372 679 before a good path leads through old farm buildings and the HS2 workings - well managed with fenced paths when we walked it - before Manor Farm brings you back into the village. A thoroughly enjoyable walk with some interesting historical features in the Roman road and plenty of good Warwickshire countryside.
